M Eifler

San Francisco
M Eifler is an artist and researcher working in sculptural proliferation, speculative archives, and computational prosthetics. Their body, disabled, non-binary, queer, white and living as a guest of Turtle Island, informs anti-disciplinary work exploring ecotones, in-betweens, chimeras, and grey areas. Working in a collage of video, painting, virtual reality, textiles, performance, and machine learning, they center process over product, discovery over refinement.

They have published extensively in open research as well as exhibited work or performed at TED in Vancouver, the Exploratorium, SFMoMA, the YBCA, and the Wattis Institute in San Francisco, XOXO, Wiensowski & Harbord in Berlin, Laurie M. Tisch Gallery and Armory Show in New York, Seattle International Film Festival, the Smithsonian Institution and Kennedy Center. Eifler graduated from California College of Art with an interdisciplinary MFA where their research focused on consilience interfaces between representational systems.
