MUTEK San Francisco was formed in 2018 as a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the dissemination and development of digital creativity in sound, music, and audio-visual art. Launched over 20 years ago by its namesake festival in Montreal. The flagship MUTEK Festival currently has 7 global annual editions in Montréal, Mexico City, Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Tokyo, Dubai, with MUTEK.SF being the sole US-based edition.
