Adobe/Festival of the Impossible Chief Curator
Chief Curator of FOI - 2016- PresentEvery year, the
Festival of the Impossible reinvents the concept of an interactive exhibition. We showcase cutting edge technology with thought provoking art pieces- fusing art and technology by using a conceptual backbone.
I was the co-founder and owner of Triple Base Gallery, which was a cornerstone for internationally promoting emerging artists in the Bay Area from 2005-2011.
I've been a Contemporary Gallery Owner, a San Francisco City Arts Employee working with the Mayor’s Office of Economic Development and the City Art Galleries, an Atelierista for a Reggio Emilia Program, an Art Studio Manager for a Hands on Discovery Museum, a Clay and Sculpture Instructor, the first Chef Educator for Pie Ranch, a Professor at California College of the Arts, a Lecturer at Portland State and University of San Francisco. I have built programs for the Warhol Foundation and created exhibition direction for a very unique contemporary gallery focusing on Interfaith Dialogue. I am not afraid to try something new but do need to be challenged and inspired.
So, no surprise that my interest lies in artists and work that can inspire others with a built vision or concept. I appreciate work that is mindful of the individual journey.
